Botox is a neurotoxin that, once injected directly into the muscle relaxes it. This temporarily prevents further movement of the muscles which often cause wrinkles of the face.

Botox is a quick and often painless treatment. Clients report a slight pinching sensation for a few seconds at the site of each injection that resides once treatment is over.

Clients often notice the Botox begin to take effect within 24-72 hours. By day 10 clients should see the maximum effect of their Botox treatment.

Post treatment we suggest you avoid rubbing/touching the treated area for 12 hours. We also suggest you avoid applying anything to the area for 12 hours (this includes washing your face). Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours and stay in upright position for 4-6 hours. After treatment you may notice small red bumps similar to mosquito bites at the injection sites. This usually subsides within a few hours at most.
